1. Who We Are

Finent is operated by FinentLabs. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to access or remove your data. Questions or requests: [email protected].

2. What We Collect

• Usage analytics (first-party). Pages viewed, searches run, your approximate location (country/city, derived from your IP address), device type, and a random visitor ID stored in your browser. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address in our database to send the newsletter.
• Finent Cards. The name, photo, message, country, and figures you enter — which may include information about other people. Your email is collected by our payment processor at checkout to send your receipt and your card link.
• Wealth Gap tool. Numbers you enter into the Audit / Wealth Gap calculators are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to or stored by us.

3. Who Processes Your Data

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Finent:

• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record; handles payments, billing, sales tax, and receipts. Card purchases appear as FinentLabs (via Paddle) on your statement.
• Resend — delivers transactional email (your card link).
• Supabase — our database (cards, subscribers, analytics).
• Vercel — hosting and the approximate location signals above.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser's local storage holds a random analytics ID and small preferences (such as your watchlist). Administrators receive a session cookie when they log in. If you click outbound affiliate links, those partners may set their own cookies, which we do not control.

5. Selling, Sharing & Retention

We never sell your personal data. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above. A refunded card is deactivated; card photos are deleted when a card is deleted or when unpaid drafts are purged.

6. Your Choices & Removal

You can edit or permanently delete any card via the management link in your confirmation email, unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and request access to or deletion of your data — including the removal of a card that depicts you — by emailing [email protected]. Finent is not directed at children; please do not upload images of minors.
